Wow, what a sight early this morning. Just as it was getting light out I noticed a goose in the lake near our shoreline, then another, and another, and another – you get the picture.

So I donned my coat and headed outside for a closer look. There were 15 of them majestically mingling with the resident ducks. What a way to start the day!

It must have a been a break for their trip south this winter because before long they were gone.
